Albergo Diffuso Forgaria Monte Prat

The place itself seemed nice, but the way they handled our booking was miserable. I was arranging a Friuli trip for 20 friends coming from Geneva, London, Paris, Milan, and Frankfurt, and I already knew the property. I called five times and got no answer, then left a voicemail that went unanswered too. Email was the only way I got a reply. They said they needed time to consider our request for one night because their minimum stay was two, and warned that their decision process was very slow, suggesting other places that looked like they hadn't been renovated since the 1970s. With flights already booked, we had to sort things out ourselves, so we reserved two nights through Airbnb, which at least gave us an immediate confirmation. They rejected it and told us we weren't welcome anymore. Very professional. We eventually stayed somewhere else in Sappada, with better hiking, restaurants, and everything else.
