The people we met among the other families were great, but the hotel itself was embarrassing. After our week before the August bank holiday in 2025, we can honestly say it was the worst place we've stayed in ten years. We feel we've wasted our money. The website described a family hotel, and it was very well put together, but the claims were overblown and our expectations fell apart when we arrived. There wasn't much family atmosphere in the activities. The entertainment was practically useless, with a young woman just starting out who couldn't hold the children's attention or keep them busy. The food was extremely poor quality, ready-made discount-store fare that I wouldn't eat at home. Five adults from different families got sick, and I lost a day of vacation to food poisoning. Cordon bleu, soufflés, and fried then refried chicken nuggets came up often and tasted of reused oil. The kids barely ate. If you weren't on time, the food ran out. Maybe that was for the best. Pizza was supposedly always available, but it was frozen discount-store pizza cut into 16 pieces, with one slice per adult. You could ask for more and get it, but having to keep asking was a pain. The bread was frozen Lidl baguette, which we had to request constantly, and one day it had run out before dinner even started. The dining room team was too small and not suited to the work. They seemed nervous and bad-tempered, service was poor, and things like carafes, cutlery, and cups kept running out. The food was thrown onto plates without care or passion, and apart from the manager, nobody could tell us what was being served. The coffee and cappuccino machine was blocked every morning at breakfast. One day breakfast wasn't served at their bar, but after we contacted them a second time, they fixed the problem at the bar. The advert says free Wi-Fi, which sounds like it's available in your room, but the sign on arrival said it was free only in common areas. It was like seeing air conditioning advertised and then finding it only in common areas too. Crazy. After two days, our group and six other families asked to meet the manager about some problems. We didn't see much change. People come to Romagna for good company, food, and smiles. The good company we found came from the families there, not the hotel.

For what we paid, I think we got a good deal. Two of our three children stayed free, and the hotel offered good value for its quality and price. We were there with family from August 16-23, 2025, the same dates as guests who posted negative reviews elsewhere, but our experience was quite different. The staff were friendly and helpful, apart from one inexperienced person who was clearly new. The waiters were especially kind, and the girl who was always smiling even offered soy milk for our child with allergies. The rooms were comfortable and clean apart from under the bed, with a nice large shower and a little balcony with a drying rack. The location suited us perfectly, a few minutes' walk from the beach along a pleasant route lined with small shops selling a bit of everything. It's not a luxury hotel, but for the money, we felt it was worth it. The garden decking and entertainment could be improved. I'm sorry other guests had such a bad time. Maybe they expected something different, but I hope this helps give a more balanced picture.

The one good thing was meeting some fantastic families and making a lovely friendship. Otherwise, we were very disappointed with our week here. We booked all-inclusive but didn't get much use out of it. The website advertises candy, hot dogs, and unlimited beer all day, but for beer you had to leave the beach, walk all the way back to the hotel, then walk back again. Kids only got candy in the evening, always the same teddy bears, and there wasn't enough for everyone. The hot dogs were packaged and left on the bar balcony. The rooms were always clean and had fresh towels each day, except on our last day when we ran out and had to dry off with small towels. The entertainment was very poor. The girl didn't seem inclined to engage the kids, took them to a room to eat, and didn't even talk to them. Staff were rude, and the dining room felt tense among the waiters. There was never a smile. If you got up to grab bread before finishing your meal, they'd take your plate away. Breakfast meant waiting, sometimes over five minutes standing around, because one waitress was serving both sweet and savory food. The staff organization was terrible. The food? We can't even talk about it. The first courses were either too hot or overcooked, the meat was raw, and portions were meager. If you wanted seconds because you were still hungry, there wasn't enough for everyone. My partner was sick for three nights in a row. I don't think we'll ever come back.

The staff and owner were lovely, genuine, always smiling, and courteous. The hotel is well placed between the town center and the sea, and my room was small but fully equipped. There's a lot of potential, though some spaces felt cramped and weren't very accessible for people with mobility impairments. Entertainment was lacking, the food was somewhat poor and monotonous, and room cleaning wasn't impeccable. The hotel closes at midnight. After that, you have to use a dark, narrow back staircase that's almost impossible with strollers, and you can't get out through the main door once inside. That's highly dangerous in an emergency. It's not a bad hotel, and there are worse ones. I thought it was fair value for money. Food, cleanliness, and general comfort are quite personal, so opinions may differ. My real issue is that what the website and quote promise doesn't match what you actually get. That's unfair to customers. I hope this review helps the property improve.
