The villa sits on the outskirts of town, where the host tends beautiful gardens and the surroundings feel like a quiet oasis. Its elevation also keeps things nice and cool at night. The accommodation looks like an old granary that’s been lovingly restored, and it’s perfectly placed for visiting Mount Etna. The host was very obliging, and I’m grateful for all he did to make my stay easy, including personally taking me to the train station so I wouldn’t be late.

The owner is super nice, and breakfast comes with amazing homemade marmalade made from homegrown fruit. There’s a great view of Mount Etna, and the B&B is a good distance from the mountain. Definitely stay here, and buy some marmalade from the owner before you go. It’s delicious!

The garden is a nice place to unwind, and the location works really well for trips up Mount Etna. Lorenzo, the owner, was very kind and helpful. Breakfast comes with excellent homemade jams.
