Park Spiaggia

We’ve already chosen this hotel for three vacations with our three children. The rooms are simple but clean, and breakfast is very good, with Illy coffee. The parking is about 500 meters away. I’m not sure why, but our car was just as clean at the end as it was when we arrived. Very satisfied :)

The staff are so sweet, and I slept like a baby. The walls really are thin, but the guests seemed quiet and considerate, so nobody disturbed our sleep. It’s a lovely place, with a great spot between the beach and Grado's best gelateria. Breakfast was really nice, and the rooms are good value. We’ll happily come back.

The good parts were the cleanliness, friendly staff, and being close to both the beach and the center. But we paid 140 euro per night, which felt much too expensive, plus 15 euro a day for parking. Booking the beach through the hotel costs more than going directly to the beach. We couldn’t sleep because we could hear everything from other rooms, other floors, and the street. The building is an old 70’s place that’s been kept up, but it still feels old, with plastic linoleum flooring. The beds weren’t comfortable, and the pillows were awful, super thin.

Better Gelato is nearby. Don’t go here. I came to buy coffee with my family waiting outside, but the man at the counter wouldn’t let them come in while I had my coffee, even though everyone outside had wine glasses. A female waitress was extremely rude, and wouldn’t let my two 3 year olds sit at a table, despite me buying something there. I guess they hate kids.
