Agriturismo Villa Finetti

The grounds were a real treat after coming from Rome, with all that open nature around us. We were there for the "President's Tournament 2026" rugby tournament, and the rain did put a bit of a damper on our stay. Our apartment was compact but laid out thoughtfully, with little touches showing how much care the owners put in. There are barbecue spots, a pool, a bocce court, a soccer field, and bike rental, at least from what I saw. Each morning the owner brought us a generous breakfast with both sweet and savory options, all really good quality. Sorry, I never got her name.

We spent nine days here and found the setting enchanting, with Gubbio close by. It works well for families as well as couples. The owners and staff are lovely, attentive to what guests need, and make you feel at home. Breakfast was excellent, with good-quality products and homemade desserts. Thanks especially to Gabriella and Andrea for being so kind, considerate, and helpful.

It’s an easy drive from this countryside farmhouse to central Gubbio, just a few kilometers away, and it has what you need for a peaceful stay. The welcoming staff were helpful, and everything was very clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom could have used shower gel and shampoo, and the towels were a little worn. In winter the place might feel rather isolated, and you probably can’t make much use of all the facilities then. A good fit if you’re after quiet.

Breakfast was a highlight, served in the apartment with homemade croissants and cakes that were delicious and different each time. Villa Finetti is quiet and lovely, tucked among nature. Gabriella, the owner, was kind, attentive, and always ready to help.
