Hotel Blumarin

The noise was incredibly loud, and we could hear everything happening in the next room. Staff were rude and unfriendly, especially the receptionist with glasses. Breakfast was terrible and not what had been promised, and they charged €10 for a second coffee. I’d choose another hotel for a better holiday.

We couldn’t sleep because the live music played every night until 1 o’clock. I later saw that many Google reviews mentioned the same noise, and other guests near us complained too. The hotel offered no help and seemed not to care about whether we could sleep. I’m Belgian and speak French, not English, though we were trying to use a little Italian. I think staff should at least be able to speak English. The toilet was broken, and the breakfast man seemed annoyed with everyone and did the bare minimum. The very young waiter was the only pleasant one. Most staff weren’t friendly, apart from the receptionist with glasses. Nothing was included except breakfast, despite different promises. The Wi-Fi was broken and only worked at reception, even though it was promoted from the time we arrived. If you don’t speak Italian and want a good night’s sleep, I’d avoid this place.

The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s an elegant, clean hotel close to the beach, with everything you need just a few steps away. I’d definitely recommend it.

A lovely stay. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated, and the staff were helpful. Nothing was wrong.
