Hotel Reno

We still remember the garden and its bar from our visit a few years ago. The location was fantastic, and the staff were very helpful. The rooms had that typical Italian, old-fashioned feel. Breakfast was similar, a bit bland and uninspired, though you get by. Maybe that's changed since we were there.

The sea view is lovely, and the room includes an umbrella and a parking space. The hotel feels very 80s, though, and the service could do with an update. In the evening the reception is empty and everything gets switched off. A man dressed all in black sleeps on the entrance sofa, then opens the door like a grandfather waiting for his grandchildren after a night out. The Wi-Fi only works at reception, if at all. In the morning the ladies start cleaning very early, with people shouting outside your door at 8. I work at a fast food restaurant that's open all night, so that wasn't great for me. Fine for a couple of nights, but not somewhere I'd choose for a vacation.

The price was just right, and the pool was fantastic. The hotel is welcoming, with reception staff who were kind, friendly, and helpful. It's perfectly located in the center, right behind the sea. The rooms are nice but could use a little updating. Breakfast is the one drawback, as there's not much to choose from. I highly recommend it.

The sea view from my room was amazing, and the staff were always willing to handle my requests and answer my questions. I spent a week here and will definitely return next year.
