AwesHome - Sea Sensation Apartment

The place was difficult to locate, especially without phone service, and there was no sign to confirm we were in the right spot. It sits halfway up a long flight of stairs from the main street, so it’s not a good choice if you’re not fit. We had no maid service for three days; when I asked for extra towels, I was told where the maid’s closet was so I could get them myself. We got only two coffee packs for the whole stay. The building was noisy, with doors constantly slamming, and construction pounding woke me at 8 a.m. It was cheap, but not very clean and service was minimal.

There’s no guarantee your booking will still be honored when you arrive. We reached the property and, at 10 p.m., they canceled because they couldn’t get the internet-operated door open. There was no spare key and nobody available to let us in. After we waited an hour for help, they told us to find another place that late. Most places weren’t accepting guests anymore, and the affordable options were already booked, so we nearly had to sleep outside. I would give zero stars if I could. Definitely don’t book here.

We were told at 10 p.m. to find somewhere else to stay, after arriving and waiting an hour for help. The door apparently works through the internet, but they couldn’t open it, had no spare key in the apartment, and had nobody who could come out to let us in. At that hour, most places wouldn’t take guests and the other affordable ones were booked, so finding another place was nearly impossible. They canceled our reservation without an apology. If they can’t run a property properly, they should close it. Absolutely not recommended.

The room was spacious and clean, and the view was lovely. I slept really well in the comfortable bed. I’d happily stay here again.
