The parking listing was misleading. The space is supposedly there, but it leaves you with a walk of over a kilometer to the property, and even with Google Maps we struggled to find it. We didn't go into the building because hauling our luggage that far would have been awful. The woman wasn't helpful. She suggested another one of her places, which cost more; that building looked in terrible condition and the area felt sketchy. We asked to cancel, and she got angry and shouted at us. I kept calm on the phone, though I was upset. She also insisted we owed the first night's rate rather than a booking fee, which could have left us liable for all the days we'd planned to stay. We never stayed there at all. The rooms might look nice inside, but raising concerns about the location and the misleading parking claim made her furious. If you expect professional service, this isn't the place.

The room was lovely, and our host did what she could to help. Getting around from here was the problem: it's quite isolated, with only a few buses nearby, lots of stairs, and very few places around. For trips to La Spezia and Cinque Terre, staying closer to the central station would be easier.

There’s a bus stop close by, so public transport should work fine. Coming by car is another story: parking can take a while to find, and even after you park on a nearby street, there are lots of stairs to climb with your bags. Inside, the room is lovely, with cute, summery decor, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom with everything you need. I also enjoyed looking through the guest book, which has messages in lots of languages.
