Breakfast was excellent, with pretty much every dietary option covered, and there are lots of lovely places for dinner just a short walk away. Locanda Collomb is cosy and extremely comfortable, with real charm. Ombretta, Daniel, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and glad to help at any time. We stayed for a week of skiing in La Thuile from 17 February, our first time here, and couldn’t recommend the place more highly. We’ve skied here for more than a week a year for over 20 years, and this is one of the very best places we’ve stayed. GRAZIE!!

Locanda Collomb was our favorite place to stay in all of Italy. Ombretta’s hospitality and great recommendations made us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was delicious each morning and set us up for skiing. The location is great, close to the phenomenal slopes in both Italy and France. La Thuile itself is beautiful and quiet, with amazing restaurants. Please do yourself a favor and stay here!

The hotel owner speaks excellent English and was very helpful. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the ski lifts, and the rooms are big with comfortable beds. A lovely family-run boutique hotel with a good breakfast. Highly recommended.

The room was lovely, though a bit small, and the staff were super nice. It had all the services we needed, plus a free bus to the mountain right in front of the hotel. Nice!

Locanda Collomb is full of charm and really beautiful, the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything. We’ve just come back from an amazing week in La Thuile and didn’t want to leave. We’re already thinking about our next trip. Worth five stars in every way.
