For skiing, this hotel is more than adequate, and the location is handy: around a 10-minute walk to the lift, with plenty of free parking right outside. There's a small bar and a few spots for groups to gather over a drink. No dining on site, though there's a very good restaurant 100m away. Keep in mind it's a 3 star hotel and set expectations accordingly. The rooms are large and usually different, although they struggle to set some up with twin beds. They're a bit old and tired, can be dark, and don't offer much storage. The plumbing can be noisy, but there's plenty of hot water. Breakfast was a bit poor, with very little fresh fruit, average bread, and terrible coffee that you have to order from slightly harried staff. A self-service coffee machine would help.

The room was okay in size, but the lighting was poor, with only small lamps and no larger light. Breakfast had no omelettes, vegetables, or fruit. The ski room was just a big empty space, with no lockers or divisions. There was a mix-up with the beds: we asked for two twin beds but got one large bed. We separated it and asked for it to be fixed the next day. We should have asked for another blanket too, because the one that came had no cover.

We were a big group, and the staff looked after us so well all week. The rooms were just right, very clean and serviced daily. The fireplace snug was cozy and a perfect place to spend each evening. Breakfast was good and the service was amazing all week. It's a fantastic hotel, just a short walk from the slopes in an awesome family resort. We loved it here. Thanks so much to the wonderful staff!

The atmosphere is what I loved most, all that wood, the fires, and thoughtful details everywhere. A great mountain getaway for a few days, with easy parking and just a short walk to the lifts. The WiFi gets a bit shaky when everyone’s online at night, but otherwise everything was faultless.

That heated boot rack and equipment room for your kit were the best part. The staff were really helpful, breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the room was warm. It’s also less than a four-minute walk to the lifts, handy when you’re here to snowboard.
