Villa Le Sorti

Dinner was excellent, and breakfast came in generous portions. We had a lovely, peaceful stay with friends at Villa Sorti, surrounded by olive trees and well placed for visiting Florence.

Cecilia was especially wonderful, so kind and helpful, and the owners made the day fantastic. We had a beautiful wedding at this venue. It’s a great place to celebrate and really enjoy such a special day for the bride and groom.

The pool and grounds are lovely, and relaxing there with a good aperitif was a real pleasure. Dinner was a highlight too, with a nice range of straightforward local dishes that were delicious. Breakfast was good, though it could have been more varied and complete. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. It’s a peaceful, enchanting farmhouse with lodging and event space, conveniently placed for Florence, San Gimignano, and Certaldo. Just keep in mind that a farmhouse won't have the furnishings and services of a grand hotel.

The room was small, but lovely and exceptionally clean. My wife and I spent two days at Villa Le Sorti and had a wonderful time. The owner welcomed us by explaining the best way to get to Florence. We had two dinners included in the gift box, with Tuscan cured meats, bruschetta and more, followed by a first course, a second course, dessert, water, and delicious house red wine. We'd gladly come back, if only to greet the owners again. They are two truly lovely people. See you soon.
