Villaggio Turistico Tecciù di Cuppi

The food was great, and the location and hospitality were just as good.

The hosts, Eliana and Luciano, made us feel at home straight away with their kindness and helpfulness. Their care really stood out. The houses are individual, well kept, and each has its own style. From them, you get a lovely view across the valley. Breakfast was excellent, genuine, and clearly prepared with care. It’s a peaceful little cluster of homes, close to the sea and the area’s scenic trails. Mountain biking and downhill routes are only minutes away, and the Ferrata degli Artisti climbing route is nearby too. The cliffs and sea are a little over ten minutes away, so it suits both a relaxing break and time outdoors. A lovely place to slow down, get some fresh air, and feel closer to nature. Highly recommended.

The cabins are lovely, Nordic-style wooden places that feel warm and welcoming. Ours was clean, looked after, and had what we needed: a hydromassage shower, hairdryer, linens, dishes, and a small private garden with a table and drying rack. There’s no coffee maker, but that gave us a good reason to get coffee or cappuccino from Eliana and have a chat with her. We also really liked the green relaxation area, the pool with hydromassage and counter-current swimming, and the BBQ spot. There’s a sauna, small gym, wifi, bar, and restaurant too. The village is up in the quiet mountains but only a 15-minute drive from the sea. It’s right by MTB paths, including the famous Rollercoaster, as well as several hiking routes. A great setup if you want outdoor sports alongside some downtime. Luciano and Eliana are the best part, though. They’re easygoing and so helpful, and gave us good tips on bike routes and places to eat. We didn’t try the restaurant this time, but that’s our official excuse to come back soon!

We’d planned to stay three nights at Tecchiú di Cuppi, but liked it so much that we added two more. After five nights, we left well rested and full of energy for the onward journey. The place feels like a little paradise, peacefully set in nature and still close to the beautiful coast of the Fiori Riviera. Eliana and Luciano welcomed us with real enthusiasm from our first meeting, and kept making us feel welcome throughout the stay. Eliana’s cooking is highly recommended too. Communication could be a little awkward at times, but the four of us often ended up laughing over Google Translate. Eliana and Luciano, you’ve put so much dedication and passion into this project, and it shows.
