Casa Marinella

The steep driveway is something to keep in mind when booking, as is the fairly tight car park, though all the different cars we saw managed fine, including our Tesla model Y, SUVs and longer vehicles. In summer I don't see a problem, but it might be tricky in winter. This was our only negative, or really just something worth mentioning. We loved our stay at Casa Marinella and I think we'll be back soon. Staff and owners were always friendly and helpful, the daily room service was done by an extremely lovely lady, and breakfast was great. If I had to nitpick, I'd have liked it more Italian and less German, though I understand there are many German tourists and that it suits them. We had two double rooms for our stay with our two dogs. Both were great, with working air conditioning, comfortable beds and breathtaking views. From the start, we felt very welcome. We enjoyed both the pool and the lake, especially with the dogs, since there's a dog beach right outside. Malcesine is a lovely 15-minute slow walk along the lake, and if you prefer, the tourist bus stops right outside every hour.

The lake is just across the road, and there's also a lovely pool to enjoy. From the room the view is epic, and you're close to everything. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the service is super friendly. 🙏🙏🙏

Breakfast had plenty of choices and was very good. We also liked how clean and modern our room was, especially with that lovely lake view from the balcony. The hotel is in a good spot, and the staff were friendly.

The walk into town along the lakefront is short, though the hotel itself feels close to nature. We had a comfortable room, lovely views, a delicious breakfast, and friendly people. The pool and jacuzzi were great too. I had a lovely stay.
