Reginelena B&B

So peaceful, and impressively clean!

The terrace breakfast was delicious, and our room was quiet, comfortable, and spotless. Cristina and her mother made the stay especially lovely, they’re the kind of people you’re glad to spend time with on vacation. We found the B&B on Google Maps about ten days before our stay. It’s right in central Maratea, and the owner gave us a pass that let us park just a few dozen meters away. If we come back to Maratea, we’ll stay here again. Paolo & Agnese

We loved being able to walk to so many restaurants in the evening, and the weather was pleasantly cool. The sea and lovely coves are only minutes away. The room was spacious and clean, with a balcony facing one of the main streets, effective air conditioning, and a good shower. The breakfast terrace is lovely too. Best of all was Cristina, the owner, who was courteous, friendly, efficient, and always ready to help with whatever we needed or suggest beaches, beach clubs, and restaurants. The B&B is right in the heart of Maratea. I’d definitely choose Regina Elena if I came back to the area. Highly recommended!

Regina Elena feels like a place with a story, and staying there gave me little secrets and special views I wouldn’t have found otherwise. It’s magnificent on its promontory, and the history of how it was founded adds to the feeling of being there. I won’t go into the furnishings or interiors, they’re best discovered for yourself. There’s also a very well-equipped, spotless kitchen if you need one. What stayed with me was the care, cleanliness, lightness, huge hospitality, and the sense of space. For anyone looking for an experience, not just a trip or a vacation, this is one of those places.
