Residence Torre Delle Viole

The owners and staff were so welcoming and kind, always available and quick to help with anything, even at night. Breakfast was delicious and well organized, though I personally prefer savory food since I don’t eat sweets. That wasn’t a problem at all. We stayed at Residence Torre delle Viole, especially in Villa Rita, and had a magnificent time. The place is spacious and beautiful, with every comfort, steps from the beach and with private parking. I highly recommend it.

Mrs. Antonia is always smiling and ready to help guests, and the staff were all kind and efficient. The breakfast team, including Mrs. Ernestina, were friendly and professional. Mr. Gerardo and the other gentleman who looked after the garden were efficient and quick to handle any situation. The apartment was comfortable and clean, with a nice terrace. It’s in an ideal spot for reaching the center and Calanca beach by private path. My only gripe was the lack of a shower tray, so I had to dry the whole bathroom after each shower, though you get used to it. We had a really lovely time, thank you for everything!!!!!

We spent the week of Ferragosto here and had a great time. Our apartment and everything in it was new and very clean, including the kitchenette, dishes, and washing machines. The location worked well for getting downtown or taking the private path to the beach. There’s also a pool with a hot tub surrounded by greenery, and parking inside the building. We chose it because pets are welcome. Our dog loves the sea, so we took him from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, within the rules allowing until 9:30 AM, and again after 6:00 PM. The staff were very kind and helpful.

There are useful shops and places nearby, including a late-opening laundromat, an ATM, a few stores, a CONAD supermarket, a discount store, and some restaurants. Our three-room apartment had a large double bedroom upstairs with a wardrobe and dresser, plus a smaller room with a single bed, a bedside table, and a little dresser but no wardrobe. The bedrooms had no air conditioning. There was a small clothes-rack alcove in the hallway, and the living area downstairs had air conditioning, a kitchen with the essentials, a fridge and freezer, a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The spiral stairs were quite creaky, and the sofa-bed mattress wasn’t very comfortable. I reported that to Mrs. Antonia, who manages the properties. We also had a balcony with a drying rack, table, and chairs overlooking a big garden. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our apartment, and phone reception was generally poor. The residence itself is a small, carefully maintained green oasis close to the center and Marina di Camerota’s seafront. Guests can use the pool and a bar serving a light buffet breakfast. Internal parking is secured with an automatic code system for the main gate and three other gates, one to the road into the center, one to an alley down to the port, and one to La Calanca beach, a three-minute walk through the woods. From 8:00 PM the local police close the access road with a barrier because it becomes pedestrian-only, though you can still reach the residence by asking the police near the barrier to let you through.
