Euvodia Luxury Rooms

The rooms are amazing, with high stone vaulted ceilings, excellent shower rooms, and a very comfortable bed. The location is excellent too, with direct access to the old town areas and an underground garage just 100m away.

The hostess was charming and very helpful, with great suggestions for places to eat. She also helped us book a bus tour around town, which ended at a viewpoint across the gorge where we watched the sunset over Matera. I spent three lovely nights here in a gorgeous, pretty room. Everything was exceptionally clean and the facilities were very good. One small hassle: taking the electronic card out by the door shuts off all the electricity, so charging batteries can be awkward. There's a USB point right beside the bed, though, which made overnight charging easy.

A really nice stay in a clean, comfortable apartment. I'd recommend it.

Barbara knew so much about Matera's history and gave us ideas for what to see and where to go. She even called around five tuktuk companies for us at the last minute. She and Maria Teresa were both amazing, kind, and generous hosts. We'd just got married and started our honeymoon in Puglia, Italy, with a first stop in Matera at Euvodia Luxury Rooms. A few days before check-in, they sent a WhatsApp message explaining how to reach the place and where to park. When we arrived, they welcomed us with Champaign to celebrate our marriage! Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with everything we needed. The old and new details worked beautifully together for a romantic stay. The location was perfect, the rooms fabulous, and the hosts were wonderful. I highly recommend staying there.
