Il Tulipano

The owner was so friendly and attentive, and we'll remember that. Parking wasn't a problem, either. It's about a 15-minute walk to the city center. We spent two nights in this lovely apartment and were delighted from the start. It was lovingly furnished, with everything thought through, and there was much more than we'd expected or hoped for. One of the highlights of our trip through Puglia. Thank you so much!

The owner's kindness and helpfulness really stood out. He was welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. Along with Il Tulipano, he made for a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations. We stayed at Il Tulipano and couldn't have chosen better. The apartment is spacious, extremely comfortable, carefully designed, and has everything you need for an independent stay, plus more. Every detail was done with taste and thought, which made it such a pleasant, relaxing experience. The little welcome gesture made us feel at home right away, and the host’s restaurant suggestion was a great one. We stayed one night at the end of July, two adults and two children. The apartment was spotless, practical, and thoughtfully equipped, and breakfast there was perfectly decent. The beds were really comfortable, with separate beds for the kids, which we appreciated. Parking right below the building was handy, especially since we could walk into the center from there. The neighborhood was quiet. Thanks ☺️

Enzo was genuinely welcoming and kept checking that we had what we needed. We only had a day in Matera, and he marked out on a map what we could see in a few hours. The house is close enough to walk to the Sassi, though we drove and used the multi-storey car park at €1 an hour. Inside, it was quiet, very clean, and fully equipped. I’d recommend staying here, and it’s nice to reward owners who treat their guests with such care. Thanks for everything, Mr. Enzo.
