Anna is wonderful, and the hospitality was exceptional. The room was very spacious, but the terrace is the highlight, breakfast there comes with a breathtaking view of beautiful Matera. Finally, a B&B like they used to be. A must-stay.

The rooms are large and spacious, and what a wonderful place. Anna's breakfast is the real standout, freshly baked croissants served on a terrace looking out over stunning Matera.

Guests have their own entrance and keys for both the front door and the bedroom. The hostess is friendly, and if she notices you're open to a chat, she'll talk about almost any subject. She's about 65 years old. The location is fairly central. The room has a new mattress, a double bed, table, chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV, and fan. There's also a small balcony facing the road. There's no air conditioning, just the fan. When the weather allows, breakfast is on the terrace overlooking the mountain with caves, the river, and part of the city; if the weather is bad, you can eat in the kitchen.
