Le Lune di Diana

Valeria made our weekend wonderful. She was so welcoming and kind, and suggested local places and excursions. The apartments are cozy and very clean, and when we arrived at Le Lune di Diana, everything matched what I’d seen online, from the furniture to the oven, coffee machine with pods, herbal teas, dishwasher, and fridge. I visited Matera with my wife and our eight-year-old son for the first time, for a weekend in April 2022. The apartment is in a pedestrian area, though you can reach it by car from a side street. The location is excellent, just a two to three minute walk from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Matera’s main square. There’s a first viewpoint over the Sasso Barisano there, as well as an InfoPoint where you can book a tour of the Sassi di Matera, which I highly recommend. Thanks again, Valeria. See you soon!

Valeria made us feel very welcome and was incredibly helpful. We came for a May weekend with friends, both families travelling with two children, and the apartment worked really well for us. It was clean, comfortable, newly done and equipped with everything we needed, including a microwave and washing machine. It's on a quiet street close to the center, and we found parking easily. I'd happily recommend it.

Valeria was kind and attentive throughout our stay, and the apartment was spotless and clearly well cared for. We were there with our three children from April 26 to 28, 2019. Le Lune di Diana is centrally placed, just a few minutes on foot from the Sassi. A great base in Matera, highly recommended.

The house was lovely, comfortable, nicely furnished, and surprisingly quiet. Valeria was so kind and useful with her advice. We spent the April 25 long weekend in Matera with our two children and my husband, staying at Lune di Diana. We can't wait to return and would love to stay there again.
