The location made it easy to pop back in during the day, whether we needed a break, had an emergency, or wanted to rest through the hottest hours. It’s just a two-minute walk from the main square where the Sassi begin. The owner was kind and very professional, and her advice about Matera was invaluable. Our room felt so welcoming, with a huge double bed that was great for my back and a private bathroom with every comfort. Breakfast included delicious local specialties as well as more familiar options. I hope to stay here again if I return to Matera.

Maria was helpful and kind, and we’ll be back. The B&B is close enough to walk to the center and the Sassi, and the rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and each has its own bathroom. We chose it after reading the positive reviews, and they were right: the property is new, lovely, and welcoming. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Matera.

The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the breakfast space had plenty of everything. I was hoping for soy milk, and they had it! We found this B&B during an Easter trip to Matera with an organized package, and the owner was friendly, lively, and kind. She helped with everything from the room and breakfast to sightseeing.
