Francesco has a really warm, friendly vibe, and the place feels cozy. The bed was so comfortable, and there were water, tea, coffee, and amazing shower gels. The only downside was the damp smell, though I guess that's common in places like this around here. There's a cute bar nearby with a nice view and friendly staff. Great location, and I'd recommend it to everyone.

We spent two nights here with our dog and had a really pleasant stay. The owners were kind and helpful, and immediately looked after our dog's needs. The property is welcoming, well maintained, and has all the comforts you need to feel at home. We also appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere when we got back from exploring the city. The location is excellent for seeing Matera. Highly recommended if you're traveling with pets or want a comfortable, authentic stay.

Francesco was a fantastic host. He met us at the bus stop and gave us clear directions to the accommodation, which is in lower Matera and easy to reach with luggage. The place itself is wonderful, practical, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. You can even spot it in the latest James Bond film. I highly recommend it.

For a fair price, you get to sleep in an authentic room that feels like a cave, and it's been decorated both cleverly and beautifully. The host is extremely friendly and clearly a warm man. A blissful place.
