The rooms were nice, and check-in was very efficient. They only have one parking space, so we parked on the street.

The owner was very kind on the phone, and they also provide a complimentary breakfast kit. The room and bathroom were clean, and the room has air conditioning. There's a small fridge in the entrance hall shared with other guests. The property has several rooms and is about a 20-minute walk from the center of Matera and the Sassi. The room is small, so it seems convenient for just a short stay of 1-2 nights. As explained when booking, the private bathroom is outside the room, and you open it with a key kept in a safe. A few things could be better: the orange towels were dry and didn't smell clean. The sheets were clean, though dated and colorful. Personally, white towels and sheets would give a cleaner impression. A slightly bigger wastebasket in the room would help too. The walls have marks, and repainting them might make the room feel less neglected.

Parking the car was convenient, and the quiet spot worked well for exploring the city on foot. We had a wonderful two-night stay. The owner was kind and helpful, and the room was spacious and lovely, with a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the snack corner, and the bathroom was clean and warm. After feeling a bit chilly, a hot shower was especially nice. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to Matera.

It's about a ten-minute walk to the city center. The room was clean, and the manager was friendly and very kind, even offering us breakfast. The bathroom is just outside the room, but each room has its own private one.
