Nice apartment.

We didn’t stay even one night. I’ve never seen a place so run-down, and it felt very unsafe because the door next door was open. There were only mattresses on the floor since there weren’t enough beds. The young men there didn’t seem to be tourists and looked like they’d been living there for a while. It seems to be a former hotel where rooms or apartments are rented out one by one. Definitely don’t book, it’s a rip-off!

The location is good, with the city center about a 10-minute walk away, and the apartment had been renovated, which was a relief given how old the building is. But for the price and the extra charges, the place was outrageous. After booking through Booking.com, we were told we had to pay an extra €15 per night for parking and €25 for bed linen and towels to get the key. Those fees are buried in the description, so you don’t see them in a normal booking. What a rip-off. With all the costs included, it wasn’t worth €135 a night for two people. Cleanliness was poor when we arrived: crumbs on the kitchen floor, dust and hair under the table, a stranger’s clipped toenail, and about 18 ants in the apartment. The bathroom door was extremely hard to close, and the advertised garden loungers on the balcony were completely broken. The apartment is noisy, with creaky, slamming doors and neighbors’ children screaming loudly. Earplugs are a good idea if you want to sleep. I’d never book here again.

Ah yes, Florian. He seems to think he’s quite the shrewd businessman. The base price is already steep, and then there’s another 40 euros for bed linen, towels, and parking. Without paying that, you can’t get in. The price is supposedly reasonable for an apartment for 4 (!) people in this location, but the other people in the building aren’t happy about four guests. The tenant of such a small apartment isn’t entitled to that, especially when shared use of the pool is advertised so prominently. If staying in a building with a “lost place” feel appeals to you, this may be the place. I gave it one star only because I needed to post my experience.
