Merano's centre is about 2 km away, and getting there on foot means a steep uphill walk. There's an electric bus as an alternative, with a stop roughly 200 m from the hotel. Our room price included the Merano-South Tyrol ticket. This is a well-run family hotel with beautiful, clean rooms, good food and parking for your car. We thought the value for money was exceptional.

This was our third visit, which says a lot about the value here. In Merano and the surrounding area, we haven't found a better quality-price ratio. The staff are so kind that we felt like family, and the breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory. The rooms are spacious, with a comfortable bathroom, a large shower, a big balcony and panoramic views. The hotel is clean and welcoming, with comfortable common areas, an outdoor pool, a smaller indoor pool, a sauna and a gym for bad-weather days. Half-board is worth booking: there's a choice of two main courses, and the food is excellent and varied. The creamy desserts are especially delicious.

We keep coming back, and this was our third year in a row. It's a comfortable, lovely hotel in a quiet green setting, kept in beautiful condition. The owners and staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Dinner is included and was excellent, with a thoughtfully planned menu that changes every day. There's an indoor and outdoor pool, a spa and a gym. We'll be back again.

The food was fresh, delicious and had plenty of variety, and the staff were friendly and attentive whenever we needed anything. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything felt well organized, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. I had a wonderful stay and would love to return.
