We stayed at Villa Sasso, and the apartments were stylish, modern, practical, and well equipped. The whole place is kept beautifully, and the views are amazing. The garden has fresh fruit, flowers, lovely plants, and the occasional salamander, with a beautiful pool and an unforgettable view. There’s an indoor pool and a warm sauna for colder days, and it all feels very child-friendly. The family’s hospitality and personal attention were outstanding. We felt looked after throughout our stay. Don’t miss a meal at their Artemis restaurant on the lovely Italian veranda. Breakfast has so much to choose from that it’s hard to decide, and people from the region come for it too. Dinner was a treat, with good wines and local specialties. We made the most of the area. Meran is just two minutes away on Villa Tivoli’s free bikes, with shops, cultural attractions, and star restaurants, both modern and old. The nearby mountains offer water sports and other outdoor activities. There’s so much to do that time flies. No wonder many guests return. Our compliments to the family, and we hope to be back soon. Breakfast was incredible, with so many homemade things that we couldn’t try them all, even after two mornings. The hotel is family-run, and the friendly staff make a real effort with every guest. Our room was great, and there are both indoor and outdoor pools. There’s a small gym too, though I would’ve liked some heavier weights. The location worked well for us with a dog, just outside town but still within walking distance of Merano.

Beautiful surroundings, a great breakfast with plenty of fruit and cakes, and a restaurant I’d recommend. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Simply Merano.

We came to see the Christmas markets and thermal baths, and the location was ideal, close to the centre. The room was large and cosy, with a spacious bathroom stocked with towels and soap. In the morning, we could enjoy a lovely mountain view. Merano 2000’s ski lift is a 20-minute ride away, and it’s a nice spot even if you don’t ski. We were warmly welcomed despite arriving without a reservation. We could also check out whenever we liked, with no set checkout time. Highly recommended!

The owner’s advice, especially about hikes, was always excellent, and the location near the city was hard to beat. We stayed at Villa Sasso for a short break with our dog and had a wonderful time. Our dog was welcome everywhere, which we really appreciated. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The grounds and pool were beautifully landscaped and well cared for, and we could borrow bikes for free whenever we wanted to explore Merano. We’d love to return.
