The only decent parts were the tiny lobby, breakfast area, and location. The room photos online only vaguely matched the layout, and the stay was a complete disappointment. The beds were uncomfortable, the walls were marked up, and zip ties held the shower plumbing together. Apart from the breakfast area, common spaces were beat up. The elevators were awful: some floor buttons were marked wrong, the braille was incorrect too, and depending on which side you're on, you have to take two elevators.

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. The reception staff and the room were nice, but the man working downstairs at breakfast ruined the experience. He was friendly when we first said hello, then became mean and disrespectful after he saw guests using the bread oven to try to bake bread. He told us, “What are you doing? You can’t do like that, you need a right bread.” There wasn't any bread or toast, and the other breakfast dishes weren't prepared well, even after 8:00 in the morning. I still don't know if he was aggressive because of the kind of bread we took or because he didn't like how we looked. I wish I could've recorded it. Maybe he just hated us and treated only us this way, but he completely overreacted and was far too disrespectful. He could easily ruin the hotel's image. The hotel itself is okay, but I'd stay without breakfast and pay less. I wouldn't spend my money on this breakfast experience.

The location is very convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful, even letting us check out late for free. The affordable price doesn't mean you should expect much. The bed sheets were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was disgusting, with mould all over shower heads that badly need replacing. There were unhygienic stains throughout the bathroom and on the broken toilet lid. I didn't feel safe drinking the tap water or putting my head under the shower. The climate control panel didn't work, but was always on, noisy, and kept the room sauna-hot. The WiFi didn't work either. My partner and I ran into many of the same problems described in other critical reviews. I wouldn't recommend it or book again, even for one night.

After arriving and seeing what people say about the hotel's cleanness, I wasn't sure I would have enjoyed staying there anyway. I had booked the wrong date by mistake and contacted the hotel within minutes. I asked if they could move my stay by a day, let me pay to upgrade to another available room category, or authorize a goodwill cancellation. The staff replied politely and acknowledged that I was trying to find a solution, but strictly applied the non-refundable policy and refused all three options. I understand there are policies, but I was disappointed they offered no practical flexibility when I contacted them right away in good faith. Since the hotel is popular and the reservation was still almost a month away, it felt unnecessarily rigid to me.
