We were there over Christmas, and the decorations made the Duomo view from the window feel even more special. The location is right in the center, with restaurants all around and a Christmas market near the cathedral during the holidays, though the area is very touristy. Breakfast comes from a nearby cafe. The choices are limited, but what we had was good. The rooms are modern, stylish, and comfortable, and there’s a shared living room. One catch is that you have to climb a few steps before reaching the elevator, so luggage is a bit of a hassle. The entrance is unlocked remotely, and one night we got stuck outside because the lock was having trouble.

We spent two nights here and would book again on another trip to Milan. The suite was roomy, comfortable, and clean, and the service was prompt and efficient. Its spot on Piazza del Duomo makes it easy to get around the old city and do pretty much anything a visitor might want.

We came back to Amabilia Suites for a second year in a row. It feels private, and the full view of the Duomo was a real highlight. It’s an apartment suite rather than a hotel, with plenty of restaurants and shops close by.

The location is right across the piazza from the Duomo Milano, but I’d skip this place. It’s a private apartment, not a hotel, and there’s no staff to help. Getting in and out is difficult, and a security person from another business has to let you through to the elevator. That elevator is at the top of a steep flight of marble steps, so getting luggage to the room is on you. I’m still waiting for management to call me. Staying here could ruin your trip to Milan.

My favorite stay of the trip so far. The room was clean and really cozy, with a direct view of the Duomo through the window. They cleaned it properly every day, but it still felt private. The hotel is right by a taxi stand too, which made it easy to leave early without rushing. Loved it!
