The staff did a great job and were lovely, but I didn’t enjoy the stay and wouldn’t return. I only went because a colleague booked it and everyone else followed. The hotel feels run down. The rooms were just okay, very basic, and didn’t seem like four-star quality. For what we paid, I’d think twice. Breakfast was dull and not fresh, and there’s a lot that would need to change.

We were charged €23 for water at checkout, though there were no water prices in the guidebook provided in each room and at reception. Staff first said the bottles were €2 each, then €3, but the total still didn’t add up. We were rushing to the airport and couldn’t stay to argue; I also have a video of staff pressuring us to pay an incorrect amount. The staff member said he’d ask his manager to update the guidebook, but nothing has changed so far. That charge feels like a scam. The combined shampoo and shower gel was watered down, and the soap dispenser gave no soap at all. I also got no reply when I requested booking confirmation before the trip. Extremely disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

*UPDATE* I’m still extremely disappointed by the lack of honesty and transparency in your response. The double booking happened because you kept cancelling and claiming the original booking hadn’t gone through, even though it had. I have the emails to prove that. During my stay, I was assured the extra 1000€ would be refunded within 5 days. That was 5 months ago, and I still haven’t received it, despite being told it would take 5 days. I’ve asked for a receipt for my stay, but you keep saying you can’t find my reservation and telling me to email you, even though I’ve emailed more than a dozen times. This is a scam and pure robbery. Please save your time and stay somewhere else. When I call, the staff are rude, even though all I want is the receipt and the refund you approved. How disappointing. I wish I’d read the reviews first. I was charged twice for a reservation, and was told I’d get a refund in September. I’ve called many times, but they won’t send a receipt or return my money. The woman on the phone is extremely rude and keeps hanging up whenever I call. I’ve tried everything to get even a receipt proving I stayed there, so I can show my bank, but they refuse. Do not stay here. They’ll double charge your card and refuse to give your money back.

We had to cancel because we tested positive for COVID-19 and couldn’t travel for health and safety reasons. We provided documentation, but the hotel wouldn’t give us a refund, credit, or even partial compensation. I understand that policies exist, but a little flexibility or empathy in those circumstances would have meant a lot. It’s disappointing that the business seemed to put profit ahead of guests’ well-being when illness was involved. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for fair treatment and customer care.
