We were two adults and two kids, and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was especially handy for a longer stay with children. There are cafes and bars nearby, people around on the street, and a Carrefour Express right at street level in the building. The area felt safe even at night. Several tram and bus stops are close, and the tram takes about 15 minutes to the Duomo and central area. Isola metro station is 750 meters away, though we always used the tram. It’s somewhere between a hotel and an Airbnb, with reception staffed during business hours. Our apartment had a large first-floor area with a kitchenette, sink, induction hob, microwave, mini fridge, dishwasher, plus pans, plates, and utensils. There was a big bed with a TV, though all the many channels seemed to be in Italian, and a bathroom with a standing shower. The balcony was a good size, and there was also a mezzanine with another bed and a balcony. The shower felt a little small, but that was my only complaint. I’d stay here again.

Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and public transport are all just a few steps away, and we loved how clean everything was. The bathrooms were spotless, too. We walked in and both said “Wow!” The simple, minimalist look felt like luxury, if that’s even a thing.

At €100 a night, this place didn’t offer acceptable comfort, and I wouldn’t recommend it. There was no heating available, so our room got cold at night. The walls were very damp and the air felt uncomfortable to breathe while we slept. Cleanliness was below what I expected, too: there was dirt on the floor, including hairs.

The rooms were really good, and the staff were supportive. There’s a supermarket close by and the railway station is within walking distance. I had a great experience and would highly recommend it.

Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly. The room is split over two levels, making for a high ceiling. There’s no laundry service, and the metal pieces covering the window aren’t advertising.
