The place itself is in a beautiful old Milanese house, and we managed to get some rest. But late arrival was a bit of an experience. We’d agreed on it in advance, yet when we reached the gate at 00:30 AM and called Stefano, he said he’d open it in seven minutes. Ten minutes later, he shouted from the window for us to wait a little longer. He was inside, but we still waited 15 minutes before he opened up. He seemed drunk and a little disoriented. We left early the next morning, then got a message from Stefano asking for my credit card details. I reminded him we’d already paid the night before, and he no longer needed them. Apparently, he didn’t remember that we’d settled the bill. I wouldn’t recommend arriving late. Otherwise, it could be OK.

It’s a nice, quiet place and I felt very safe there. The room was great, the price was good, and the owner was welcoming and friendly.

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and the service was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have a TV in ours, but that suited us better since we wanted to grab a map and explore the city. The shared bathroom has a tub, a shower, and all the amenities. It was a quiet, pleasant stay. Thanks to Ms. Barbara. The location is fantastic for reaching Milan’s main tourist attractions.
