We had easy, quick self check in and really good communication with the friendly host. The wifi was good, and the location is great, in a pleasant, safe neighborhood close to the centre. There are lots of shops, bars and good pizza places nearby, plus a supermarket open until midnight. The place was just like the pictures, with a big, very clean modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. It was spacious and very clean.
When we arrived in January, the room was cold because everything was switched off, including the air conditioning. Better windows would also help with the street noise. The room itself is nice and large, with a kettle, hot drinks and complimentary beverages in the fridge. The bathroom is big too, with a good hair dryer, shampoo and body wash.
The room was clean, medium sized and well stocked, and we were grateful to find free water replenished in the fridge every day. For a short stay, it was good value and in a perfect spot for visiting Milan, around a 25 minute walk from Duomo and close to public transport and supermarkets. At first we weren’t sure about staying somewhere that wasn’t a hotel and had no receptionist, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. Manager Rebecca kept in touch really well throughout on WhatsApp. We’d definitely recommend it.
I’m quite demanding, but the equipment and standard here met my expectations. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the service very good. We had delicious coffee and drinks as a gift, good wifi, and proper lockers for storing luggage. It’s in a pleasant area and the location is good. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it!
Noise was the big problem during my stay. My room, number 6, was on the first floor close to street traffic and trams. Across the road, a bar made loud announcements over a speaker all evening. The room was also directly above permanently fixed outside tables for a McDonalds, where a group chatted and laughed loudly at 4 am. Shutting the windows cut the noise sharply, but if you like sleeping with a window open for air, bring effective earplugs. The location is convenient for the city centre, with good restaurants in the neighborhood and a lively farmers' market on Saturdays. For the price, the room was spacious, with new furniture and fittings, and dark curtains kept out the abundant street light. Access was straightforward, and the manager responded when I raised problems. This isn’t a hotel, so you’ll need a left luggage service at the station or elsewhere in town to store bags on departure day. The safe in my room was unusable because its position made the instructions impossible to read, and my guess at how it worked was wrong.
