Heart Hotel Milano

The room suited me perfectly as a solo traveler. The staff were very friendly and even let me check in early. The location is great for walking to landmarks and train stations. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Milano.

The reception team were kind, professional, and helpful, and made me feel welcome from the start. The stay itself was good, but the bar service really needs work. I just ordered a coffee, and the barman seemed irritated while making it, apparently because breakfast wasn’t included in my stay. I saw him treat other guests the same way. I also witnessed an argument between him and a customer. I don’t speak Italian, so I can’t say exactly what it was about, though I assume breakfast was involved, but it was clear the customer was being verbally attacked. That’s no acceptable way to speak to guests.

The staff were very polite and friendly, and the location was ideal, about five minutes from Reppublica Station. The room was clean and tidy, and a little small but fine for one person. Breakfast was poor. For a short stay in Milan, it’s a nice option at a good price.

We decided to leave today after a terrible stay, but the hotel refused to refund even the night we won’t be using. We also couldn’t get help from the manager when we complained and asked to speak with them. We were told the manager wasn’t working that day and would only be available from tomorrow, which doesn’t seem normal for a hotel of this standard. We had to change rooms twice. In the first one, the noise was unbearable, the sink was clogged, and there was no soap or water. There were plastic cups instead of proper glasses, and the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The final room was still far too noisy. We didn’t sleep at all because people were shouting and running in the corridors and furniture kept being moved. It felt more like a hostel than a four-star hotel. The comfort and service were unacceptable, and the whole experience was a complete disaster. I strongly don’t recommend it.
