Home Hotel - Santa Marta 6

The staff were friendly and helpful across the board, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant. I loved the restaurant's Christmas decorations and its lovely wait staff. The food was excellent at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the included breakfast rate was worth it. My large suite had everything I needed, and the rooftop deck had beautiful views. The place felt charming, old-world, and clean. I'd definitely recommend it.

From the outside, the hotel doesn't make a big impression, but inside it has loads of charm. It's close to Milan attractions and the metro and tram. The service was wonderful, especially Paymen, who went out of his way to make sure my partner and I had a good time over Christmas. He shared plenty of recommendations and booked reservations for us several times. He was a real highlight of the trip. After we'd left Milan, we realized we'd lost an important item on the property. Paymen worked with the staff to get it shipped to our home in the US. We'd absolutely stay again, especially if he's still there.

The staff were unbeatable, and the terrace had a great atmosphere and view. Breakfast was low-key fantastic. I have no idea where they get their pigs, but the bacon was surprisingly good. Five stars.

The staff were so welcoming. One of them marked a few spots on my Google Maps and suggested areas and routes for our short visit. They also helped with our bags and kept them for us after checkout. The room was cute and had what we needed, including a fridge. There’s a terrace too, though we forgot to look before leaving. Getting around was easy: Milano Cadorna station is about a 15-minute walk away, which worked well for both Malpensa airport and Como Lago. Starbucks Reserve Roastery and cafe kitsune are only around five minutes on foot, and we walked to plenty of other places, including QC termemilano. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Milan.
