8/10
For what I needed, this place did the job: a clean room, a shower, and a bed for the night. It was keenly priced for a three-star hotel in Milan, and the location is spot on. I don't understand the one-star reviews. Vanessa was incredibly nice and seemed to speak every language under the sun. It's noisy, sure, but this isn't the Torquay seaside. My room faced the back and was completely fine. I wouldn't choose it for a wedding anniversary, but if you're out and about most of the time and want to get places without a long journey, it's very decent value.

The area is peaceful, even though it's only a few kilometers from the city center, so it suits people who don't enjoy the city's hustle and bustle. The price is fair, the staff are friendly, and it's easy to reach by public transport. Highly recommended.

The bed and floor were soaked after water poured onto my face while I was asleep. It apparently leaked heavily from the room above when someone showered. At checkout, all I got was a simple apology, with no compensation. The walls are very thin too, so you hear things you'd rather not hear.

The central location, close to the station, is a real plus. But traffic noise is quite noticeable at night and could bother light sleepers.

The rooms and bathrooms are poor, and the service was extraordinarily rude. They overcharged us because of their own mistake and wouldn't take responsibility. Trying to sort it out just drained our energy and got us more rude replies. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Don't go.
