Milano Apartments

We were a family of five and had a great one-night stay. The apartment was fully equipped, with toiletries ready to use, plus free coffee, tea, wine, and two bottles of water. Everything was organized well, and communication was straightforward. The metro is right across the street, and you're in the lively Navigli area, a good base for exploring Milano. As we'd expected in a big city, parking meant paying for a street spot, but we found one about 200 meters away. Thanks for having us!

The apartment was very dirty, and the walls need painting. There are over 25 steps and no elevator, and water leaked from the shower partition. The woman who came for check-in couldn't speak English. It was a very bad experience. They canceled the Booking.com reservation and charged us directly, so we couldn't post this review there. I definitely don't recommend it, and I won't come back.

We were told checkout was at 11, but the housekeeper started chasing us from 10:30. Maria, who handles the property, kept knocking. We were only about 15 minutes late and were still finishing up and checking our things, but she made us open the door, came into the room to start cleaning, and looked angry with us. The way she stared made me feel as if she might kick us out. I uploaded the WhatsApp chat with the owner here, and the owner was just as rude.

It's on the third floor, up exterior stairs, with no elevator, so carrying luggage could be a problem. Otherwise, the apartment was quiet since it faces the back of the building, and it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It even had an ice tray in the freezer, which I've rarely found in short-term rentals in Italy. The neighborhood has good restaurants, and the train station is half a block away. When the Wi-Fi wasn't working at check-in, the host answered on WhatsApp within minutes and sent an employee to take a look five minutes later. He couldn't fix it himself but said he'd contact their ISP. I went out to meet friends, and about 30 minutes later they messaged to say it was fixed. It worked well for the rest of my stay.
