Nh Collection Milano Porta Nuova

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The hotel is well located for getting to attractions, restaurants, and public transport, and the amenities were organized with what we needed for a comfortable visit. I found the service, comfort, and value better than expected. It’s one of the best hotels in Milan, with excellent service and lots of useful places nearby.

The room was spacious and lovely, and the staff were really nice. Breakfast was disorganized, with things running out, and the scrambled eggs weren’t properly cooked. The fruit selection was good, but the coffee machine was broken. There was no body wash, and the couch had stains, which is why I gave four stars.

I’ve stayed at plenty of NH hotels, but this was easily my worst experience. We booked room 205 at NH Collection Porta Nuova and found it dirty, uncomfortable, and badly maintained. The bed and pillows were awful, and the room stayed cold all night because there was no proper heating. There was no shower gel, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. Valeria at reception was dismissive and unprofessional, with no apparent interest in helping resolve anything. For what the hotel offers, it’s completely overpriced. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

During the work week, I could fit in a workout, get ready, and have breakfast with healthy options before business meetings. On my day off, the friendly staff gave me useful restaurant and sightseeing tips. The accommodations were excellent, in the new high tech zone at Piazza Gae Aulenti (Porto Nuovo). I’d stay here again.
