Sant'Agostino Apartment Navigli

I emailed several weeks before the cancellation deadline because I needed to change my reservation dates. The property couldn’t accommodate the new dates I requested, but assumed I’d keep the original booking and charged me for it. If they weren’t sure whether I could still make the original dates after I’d asked to change them, they could reasonably have followed up before the deadline.

Emilia was kind and friendly, always answering our calls, and helped us out as we were leaving. The rooms were cleaned every day, the property felt secure, and breakfast came with croissants, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and juice. It’s a quick walk to the Duomo, and booking with the kind host was easy. I’d highly recommend B&B Sant Agostino to anyone visiting beautiful Milano. Thank you for your hospitality. Teresa Trifaro.

Emilia gave us excellent service at this BNB in a lovely, quiet area, about 15 minutes from the Duomo. Each evening, a beautiful breakfast was left in our room, along with complimentary Venchi chocolates, my favourites. Highly recommend.

The bed broke as soon as I lay down, though they offered to move me to another available room. The air conditioning was shared across the B&B instead of being separate for each room. It was noisy too, with voices from the corridor carrying when the lady greeted guests or spoke on the phone. The coffee machine was on the same desk as her phone, room keys and diary, which felt very uncomfortable. There were problems from the start: the phone number for confirming check-in was wrong, and the doorphone said B&B De angelis instead of B&B Sant'Agostino. The lady managing the B&B didn’t welcome guests properly and seemed very disorganized. The service overall was mediocre and could definitely be better.
