We were really disappointed with the apartment and our stay. The good part was check-in, which was very accommodating despite our flight delay. The listing said there was an extra toilet, but there was only one. It also advertised aircon, but turning it on barely seemed worthwhile. We spent four nights in awful heat and hardly slept, made worse by the apartment being on a busy tram line. Trams ran from very early morning until late at night. There were also early morning bin lorries emptying nearby restaurant bottle bins. Towels weren't provided until we asked, and the advertised bathrobes weren't there.

We had a helpful host and a clean apartment that had been renovated well. It's in a quiet neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from the Duomo, and the central location is excellent.

The location is great, but the apartment itself really isn't. At a quick glance it looks modern and clean, but it isn't. The shower screen was broken and the sink was disgustingly dirty. It was right beside a metro line, and you could hear it as if you were out on the street. We heard everything happening outside as well as what the other people in the building were doing. The sofa bed pillows were rubbish.

Everything is within walking distance because the apartment is right in central Milan, and the location is excellent. But the place wasn't very clean, and some things seemed neglected or showed signs of use by previous guests. A week before we arrived, we contacted the owner to change our check-in time and got no reply. When we reached the apartment door, we couldn't get hold of her for over 45 minutes. She didn't answer calls or messages, so we were left waiting outside for a long time.
