Duomo is just a three minute walk away, so the location is top. There was construction in the neighborhood when we visited, which made getting in and out a bit confusing, but it wasn’t a big deal. The apartment kitchen had everything we needed, especially with children along. The walls could use a little renovation or freshening up.
The digital key made getting into the house easy, and it’s right in the centre of Milan. Sweet clearly put care into preparing it. We found a box in the kitchen with laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, a sponge, liquid hand soap, and a dish towel. I’d never seen that thoughtful touch before. The place is very well maintained, and I’d happily book with the company again when I’m back in Milan.
I’d still recommend this place, though a few things need attention. The sofa was already broken before we arrived, but nothing had been done about it. The oddly shaped cupboards have no shelves, and there are no clothes hooks in the rooms or showers. We couldn’t get bed linen for the spa despite asking three times, and there’s no broom. Customer service is only through their problematic app, with no WhatsApp option. On the plus side, the rooms are large and generally clean, with reasonable kitchen equipment. The location is central, 650 meters from the Duomo, and the yellow line metro is about 50 meters away.
Federica at reception was so kind and always around when we needed her, 10 stars for her. The apartment was clean and cozy, with all the comforts, on a very quiet street just a few meters from the Duomo. There’s an information office 50 meters away where you can leave your luggage.
