Vmaison Brera Milano

Leonardo found a way for me to keep up my daily workouts while the gym was under construction, by giving me some extra space. The staff were super friendly, and the hotel is right in the center. I had a pleasant stay at Vmaison boutique hotel, with a cosy, homely feel. I can imagine sitting out on the terrace in summer would be lovely. Thanks for the kind hospitality.

The bar noise at night was extremely loud and made it very hard to sleep. On top of that, my room had no hot water on the second day. The hotel didn't fix it, so I had to leave early on the third day. Mr. Enrico, the manager, acknowledged the issue and emailed me several times confirming a €600 refund. Despite those written promises and my follow-ups, the refund was never processed. My experience at Vmaison Hotel was extremely disappointing. Future guests should be careful with payment authorizations and keep a close eye on card charges. Get everything documented clearly, especially any promised refund.

What stood out most was how Enrico and Alleyiha, along with the other staff, treated guests like family and seemed completely committed to making us feel at home. My wife and I have never felt that way at any hotel we've stayed in, anywhere. That's why we'd go back and recommend Vmaison without hesitation for a Milan break or a business trip. We enjoyed our three nights in late November. Our ground floor room was quiet, pleasant, and tastefully decorated, though the heating controls were a little quirky. The hotel paid lovely attention to detail, and we enjoyed the Christmas decorations and restaurant. Milan is a major world city with plenty going on, yet it isn't overrun with tourists like Venice or even Florence. It can take a little more searching to find historic sites, but that makes the city more interesting to explore. Richard and Jacky Morris

The room looked out over the garbage area, and there was a cockroach, a stained pillowcase, and a foul smell throughout the hallway. Those were only some of the problems. Customer service was poor, and the staff, manager, and owner didn't seem to care that my stay was bad. A real disappointment, and definitely not worthy of five stars. I wouldn't recommend Milano Hotel.
