We booked when the city was packed for Vasco Rossi’s concert at Modena Park on July 1st 2017, which brought 220k people to town, and all the hotels were full. The owner was kind, helpful, and honest, and didn’t try to raise the room price to cash in on the event. The place itself is simple and cozy, with clean rooms and plain, almost minimal furniture. Free WiFi and a good breakfast, too. Definitely recommended.

We’re back at this lovely little hotel for the 5th time, and it’s still amazingly friendly and immaculately clean. It’s our special place in Modena, handy for public transport and an easy walk into the town center. We’re glad to be here for my 50th birthday. I’d absolutely recommend it, even though part of me wants to keep it secret and have it to ourselves! It’s rated 2*, but I think it deserves 3* or 4*. It can’t be upgraded because there’s no way to install a lift. There are only 3 floors, and they’re always happy to help with luggage and go out of their way for guests. The ladies at reception speak excellent English and are so friendly, especially Emanuela and Alexandra. Like many Italian ladies, they’re very pretty, too. If you love Italy as we do, you’ll love this little hotel xx.

For a budget hotel, it’s hard to find one cleaner or better maintained. The rooms are a decent size. It would be perfect if they had their own bathrooms and there were an elevator.

What a lovely find: a cozy, clean hotel with wonderful staff and a killer breakfast. Highly recommend it!
