Breakfast on the little second-floor balcony was a lovely way to watch Monopoli wake up. Dimora Eride sits among the old town's restaurants and shops, with the harbor and its little blue boats right outside. Everything was clean and neat, and we had what we needed for a good holiday. The central spot does mean some evening noise from nearby bars and restaurants, since you sleep right on the street, but that's part of staying in the middle of town. The wine bar next door serves delicious drinks and has plenty of red and white wines. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'd happily return.

The apartment is right in Monopoli's historic center, near the shops and promenade, and well placed for nearby beaches and day trips to places like Alberobello, Ostuni, Matera, and Lecce. It's newly renovated, elegantly furnished, and has everything for either a short or longer holiday. The owners welcomed me warmly and were available whenever I had questions or needed anything. I was taken with the clear sea, its lovely blue-green colors, and the springlike weather. Monopoli is a delightful seaside town in central Puglia, and I'll definitely come back.

The rooftop terrace was a great extra. The cottage was clean, quiet, nicely decorated, well equipped, and in a good location.
