Hotel Maestoso

The beautiful architecture really completes the stay at Grande Maestoso. We had a group of more than 70 adolescents, and the service was impeccable, with friendly staff and excellent assistance. Breakfast had a good range of options, and dinner was delicious with at least three courses. It's about a ten-minute walk from the train station and five minutes from lively streets with cafes, lounges, and shops. Definitely recommended!

The picture above the bed was creepy, and the view from our room was of dumpsters. There was noise from the street day and night, plus a nearby construction site, so we couldn't get any peaceful rest during our five days. The room door had a hole in it, as if someone could spy through it. Towels had yellow stains and weren't changed regularly unless we asked. At the poolside rooms there's no elevator, so you have to carry your own luggage up slippery stairs. Dust was everywhere, including on the fridge, chairs, windows, and toilet seat. The tiled bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. Furniture was old and damaged, and the room seemed to have dust left over from renovation work or something similar. Breakfast was awful: just bread, cookies, and pastries. I can't eat gluten, and despite the booking site saying gluten-free options were available, there was nothing for me, not even boiled eggs. The room was a horror, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The dinner was great, a classic Italian three-course menu, but breakfast wasn't to my taste. There wasn't much variety, and the bread was quite dry and unsalted or something like that. I was here for five days on my last school trip. It's a nice little hotel with good value for the money. The staff were polite and friendly, and recommended some good places in town. Our rooms were nice and clean, with good furnishings.

David, Fabrizio, and Pedro made this trip unforgettable, so a special thank you to them! We had a wonderful week with our class in Montecatini Terme at Hotel Meastoso. The guys at the hotel were soooo nice. The rooms worked perfectly for the kids, the food was very good, and the service was too. We also had a hotel pool and perfect weather, which was everything we could ask for with a 10th class. Thanks for everything.
