Hotel Prati

We had a very pleasant stay for a few nights in August 2023. The hotel's location made a handy base for trips to Pisa, Florence, and Siena in Tuscany. The rooms were lovely, the modern bathroom was a real bonus, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat. The breakfasts were fantastic, especially the coffee, which was the best. It was a lovely touch to have it freshly made for us in the morning. What stood out most was the warm, family-like atmosphere. The owners kindly waited for us and welcomed us warmly even though we arrived late. We'd highly recommend Hotel Prati di Cecchi Federico to anyone looking for a charming place to stay.

We were looked after like family by fantastic staff. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the price excellent. Our room was comfortable and welcoming. It's a pleasant town, with Pisa and Florence both close by train.

I was there with a school travel group at the beginning of August, and got to see several rooms. I think our group occupied a large part of the hotel. Each room had its own little details and charm. To me, it felt like an ideal Italian hotel, complete with skeleton keys. The atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone on staff was so kind. It really felt like we were among family. Most days our group was busy trying to fit in as much as possible during our time in Italy, so it was refreshing to relax in the evenings without that boxed-in feeling you sometimes get in more commercial hotels. My room was on the small side, but it suited me perfectly. On my whole Paris-Venice-Florence-Rome trip, it had the most comfortable bed. If I come back to Italy, I'll try to stay here again.

I stayed with friends a few weeks ago, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff were amazing. Breakfast was a delicious, typical European spread. Dinner on the night we arrived was incredible. We started with delicious pasta, and there was salad for anyone who wanted some. The main was regional thin-sliced pork with roasted potatoes. Every bite was a pleasure, the pork just melted in my mouth. Dessert was a fabulous cake. I can't remember enjoying dinner that much, maybe ever. A fantastic experience, and I'd love to go back.
