Suite Dreams Hotel Montecatini

The room was gorgeous, elegant and clean, and the jacuzzi was amazing. We stayed in the "Japan" room for a night. One small gripe: the TV couldn't be turned toward the tub, so watching from there wasn't possible. A little mirror in the bathroom would also help those of us trying to put on makeup in the morning 😂. The two receptionists we met were both polite and kind. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. A great find, and we'll be back.

I booked the Japan room as an anniversary treat for my girlfriend, and it felt like a great deal for such gorgeous rooms. The lighting gave the spacious, elegant room a luxurious feel, and the in-room jacuzzi was the highlight. The TV has Netflix with an integrated account and supports AirPlay, though it couldn't be moved off the wall to make it easy to see from the tub. Breakfast in the room and welcome cocktails were nice extras. A lovely, relaxing gift.

The location worked well for getting around on foot or by car, and parking was available for a reasonable cost. My husband and I spent 3 days and 2 nights here, using a Smartbox we received as a honeymoon gift, and it was absolutely worth it. Our Sioux room was bright and spacious, with Indian-themed decor that felt suitable for couples and families with children. It had a jacuzzi and sauna, and the bed was a real treat, soft with excellent sheets. Staff were friendly and always available to help or answer questions. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, just right for a relaxed start, and the drinks were well made, a nice bit of extra pampering. Highly recommended for a romantic, restful stay.

The bed was comfortable and the staff helpful, but cleanliness was a major letdown after I arrived with high expectations. There was mold in several places, including by the bed, and the walls were damaged in various spots. The sink was broken and slanted down, the chairs were rusty, and the bear's face was a dirty yellow. The hot tub water was blue and dirty, with hair and other foreign matter in it once we switched on the bubbles. It seemed the outside might have been cleaned, but perhaps the inside only got a few empty rinse cycles. The hotel has potential, but this fell short.
