We would happily come back for the fantastic location, and hope the guest experience gets the same care as the place itself. The property has so much potential, but the overall hospitality could be better. We didn't get to do the wine tasting and sunset experience because we hadn't booked ahead. Staff seemed somewhat distant and superficial, and the food was simple for a place that sets expectations of a more refined menu. Breakfast was adequate, but basic. Information was also lacking, from the confirmation email and extra activity list, which were only in Italian, to guidance about the property and nearby sights.

The olive tree road is our favorite spot, it's amazing. As wedding photographers, we love the many lovely places for pictures, from the stone paths to the sweeping countryside views. At sunset, the light is magical and gives us the most romantic portraits of our couples. Set among the Tuscan hills and vineyards, Borgo Tre Rose has a wonderful balance of rustic charm and elegance that makes a wedding feel special. Highly recommended! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and renting an e-bike was straightforward. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, but most of the other food was just okay, apart from one exceptional ravioli dish on a tasting menu. The views from around the hotel are breathtaking. I booked a Classic Hill View room and enjoyed its lovely outlook from my window over my three-night stay. The beds could have been more comfortable. Italian hotel rooms tend to have similar older-style furniture and amenities, but that didn't take away from this hotel's charm. It was a lovely experience, although the pasta dishes left me a little disappointed.

The location is great, and the hotel could have been good, but the rooms were poor, maybe one or two stars at best. The shower was so tiny it wasn't possible to take a proper bath. Service was so bad it made everything else uncomfortable. Checkout was at 10am, which is absurd, and they wouldn't be flexible. It seemed like the staff did everything they could to make the experience unpleasant.

The atmosphere was just right, peaceful and relaxing, and I hated having to leave. The scenery is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, and the service is second to none. I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. Bravo Borgo x
