La Tenuta

It has a real at-home feel. A lovely spot for a family Sunday or a celebration, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

The food and service were excellent, and the value for money was great. Our guests also praised the setting and everything we ate, especially the superb braised beef and the excellent appetizers and main courses. We celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday at this beautiful restaurant in the green Sangro countryside, and Rita and her staff made the occasion feel special. Rita was so available and friendly, and they went beyond what we expected. It felt like being at home, with lots of heart and very little formality. If you want a simple place with a real impact, good food, and a warm welcome, this is it.

The owners were cheerful, helpful, and incredibly kind, and we felt right at home with them. We’ll definitely be back soon. We stayed here for five days and everything was perfect. Just five minutes from the city center, the place is quiet and gave us a carefree break from life in a big city. Our room was spacious and had every comfort. Dinner was spectacular. Kudos to the chef, whose dishes were full of unique flavors.

Pets are welcome here, which meant a lot to us. I’m heartbroken to be writing this just a few days after Pippo, the estate’s mascot, passed away. He was a wonderful dog and had become friends with my dog Brandy. See you soon, I can’t wait to come back. Cristina, Domenico, and Brandy. Rita and Gianluca are warm, friendly, and always helpful. The Tenuta is peaceful and simple, with impeccable cleanliness, though it isn’t a luxury place. There’s no breakfast, but the tavern in the shared areas lets you make coffee or use the refrigerator.
