Dama Suite

The room was large, and the staff were polite and helpful. The location was excellent, but the place was so poorly maintained that the stay felt like a disaster. Only the sheets and towels seemed clean. We booked at the last minute through booking.com while traveling from Rome to Naples, and all the little problems added up.

The breakfast was the weak point: at a nearby café, it was just a croissant and cappuccino. Still, I’d happily stay at Dama Suite again if I return to Naples. It’s a B&B in a building in the charming Chiaia neighborhood, with lots of cafés and restaurants. The rooms are clean and spacious, and there’s a kitchen guests can use. You can reach the historic center easily, or take the metro, which is five minutes away. I recommend it.

The reception wasn't staffed, though we hadn't been told that, and nobody explained how to check out. We also booked through an intermediary website after it offered the property as an alternative to our original reservation, saying breakfast was included. We didn't receive breakfast ourselves. The location of Dama Suites is excellent, but our room was in poor shape, with many damaged or badly maintained items.

Raffaele was so kind and always on hand. The rooms were comfortable, though they could have been cleaner. The property is in a great spot in one of Naples's trendiest neighborhoods.
