Hotel Airone

Breakfast was pretty limited, just coffee, croissants, fruit yogurt, and cereal, and I wouldn't stay here again. The location is very central and the metro is walkable, but the room was a letdown. The hotel is old, and although some areas have been renovated, the work still feels unfinished. There was a really awful smell from the bathroom, and the taps were dirty and rusty, like they hadn't been cleaned in years. The duvets had no covers, just a duvet between two sheets. They slid around while we slept, which was uncomfortable and felt unhygienic. I don't like the thought of sleeping under a duvet that other guests have used and that isn't washed often. I would like to mention

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Fabio at reception, who helped us a lot. The hotel is lovely and well placed for both the docks and the city. I'd definitely stay again.

After checking out of Hotel Airone in Naples, I realized I'd left my shoes behind. The staff found them right away and carefully arranged to have them couriered back to me quickly. I was impressed by how professional and attentive they were, and by how much they cared about making things right for a guest. Thanks to the team. This kind of service is what makes Hotel Airone stand out, and I'd happily recommend it.

Even on a very busy street, our room was quiet and really clean. The service was good too, and the Metro stop for the university is very close. For a small hotel in Naples' central historic district, this is a nice choice.
